1 February 2014 | Repairs are due to start today on the Numbi Road which is the main route to the Kruger National Park, Numbi Gate. Guests advised to avoid this route due to major delays.
12 December 2013 | The Shamwari Game Reserve Anti Poaching Unit recently took receipt of a cheque for R60,000 from the proceeds of the Club 100 fund raiser, “Christmas in June”, which will be well utilised for infrastructure and a much needed Observation Point on the reserve.

5 April 2013 | April marks another chapter in the history of Jock Safari Lodge, situated in the Kruger National Park and part of Shamwari Group, with the launch of The Explorer Camp, which offers guests a unique experiential insight of a bygone era into this remote Big 5 wilderness, as did the legendary Percy Fitzpatrick in the 18th century. Jock Explorer now complements the highly successful Sanbona Explorer and Shamwari Explorer.
