The following activities are on offer to groups at no additional charge:

Amazing Bush Race
The group is divided into teams and set out with their rangers to complete a check list of activities within a certain time frame. The first team back at the lodge having successfully completed the tasks will win the challenge. Tasks include activities such as identifying animal prints, collecting animal droppings, identifying and taking photographs of certain animals and much more.

Guide Presentation
Rangers have developed presentations focused on their own particular passions, which can be presented on request as evening entertainment.

Potjie Cook Off
This is a South African tradition not to be missed. Teams compete to successfully build a fire and produce the best tasting potjie pot (food cooked in a pot over open fire). Teams are judged on their ability to work efficiently while still producing a tasty result. This cook off is then served as dinner around the open fires.

Additional Activities/Services

Kindly note that a 10% handling fee will apply should you require the Shamwari Game Reserve to arrange any of the additional services on your behalf. This handling fee however does not apply to the bush dinner. Suppliers for additional activities/services might change from time to time and is not limited to the below mentioned companies. *Sole use of game viewing vehicles is subject to wedding booking.
