It had been one of those mornings when everything comes out to play. I had this beauty of a young female leopard on the 911 track and she was less than 10m off the road lying on a stump. We gave her space and since we were the only ones with her she was in no hurry to leave her comfy spot. The cameras were out and firing away. It doesn’t happen all that often, that one can sit for almost half an hour with a leopard in the Kruger National Park, let alone be able to get the right position and lighting without any other vehicles in the way. Just how I like to enjoy a leopard sighting! I used my canon 50D with a 300mm f/2.8 IS USM aperture was f/2.8 ISO 200 supported on my beanbag.
