From 1 to 21 November 2013, legendary artist Christopher Hogan will be the first resident artist at Shamwari Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape to conduct various art workshops and talks with guests wishing to learn more about the art world and to assist them to fine tune their own artistic skills. A unique art exhibition will also take place during his stay.
Canvas and paints etc are supplied. Guest class - adult is US$60 and children (5-14 years) US$30. The cost for group classes depends on numbers and private art classes – US$180 p/2 ½ hour session.Accommodation package starts at R3, 750 per person sharing per night and pre booking is essential for accommodation and art classes.
The art classes will be held 6 days a week for two hours each session, twice per day. Private art classes can also be arranged with prior notice given. This is a wonderful opportunity for Shamwari guests.
Christopher is one of the world’s leading marine abstract artists, with an impressive clientele of luxury resorts in Australasian and corporates gracing the Forbes Global 2000 list. He has developed a team-building platform for the delivery of an art based learning program with his ArtEnergy workshops for corporates and hotel groups.
His artwork is collected by Regional Art Galleries in Australia and he has an impressive list of both corporate and private collectors from many parts of the world.
